ESXI 6.5 VM status warning

we get a warning from 1 vm but no further info. can't find any error looking through all the menus. vmware tools up to date.

what to do?

Can you check the summary page or alarms page on the warnings? Do you have snapshots which are yet to consolidate?

I have already posted a screenshot.

There are no snapshots and nothing else to find.

Please click on the VM and check on the summary page if there is any issue or check the vm monitoring

thank you, that was the missing part.

it says that the VM is configured as Windows Server 2008 R2 but the installed OS were Windows 7.

this is not true. the installed OS actually is Windows Server 2008 R2 since this is a Domain Controller.

any ideas?
