Either you disable the alarm or look why your service is display the issue.
We are having this after upgrade to vsphere 6 and getting "vmware-vpostgres status changes from green to yellow" message for weeks
Then after patching with update manager we get the "VMware Postgres memory usage has exceeded allocated quota" message

or is it OK just to acknowledge this and forget until there is a fix?

I ended up just applying the workaround and at least that stopped the warning alerts
it works for me. I want to khow why this error occur?
1 year ago I installed (vcsa)vcenter 6.0 with embaded database.
Must I increase vcenter hard diskes?how?
