vmware workstation 14.1.2 only does nat instead of bridge

Hi all

I'm testing VMware Workstation 14.1.2. My host is a Windows 10 64 Bit [Version 10.0.17134.165]. Guest is a Windows 2016 Server and Windows 2008 Server. No matter what i select in VM Setting I only get an IP Address from the vm dhcp pool. Also when I set to bridged, I do get a DHCP Address vom NAT pool.

I several reinstalled and restored Defaults in VMware with no success.

does anybody have an idea? Thank you for your help

Hi all

I could solve the Problem. I moved the virtual machine to my testnotebook with only Player installed. There I switched to "bridged"....and...it works. Moved back to my Workstation and ran again...also without Problems....
