Question :
If a customer procured a VSAN certified node for VMware Cloud Foundation, but the nodes were partially populated with disks, then 1. Can he add extra disks groups/capacity post deployment without re-imaging the cluster? 2. Will this affect the VCF certification of the VSAN ready node in any way? and hence the support
Yes additional disks and/or disk groups can be added post deployment although SDDC Manager will not be aware of the additional capacity and will not update the Main Dashboard. This would not impact service or support.
Is there any way that SDDC Manager can recognize changes?
I have expanded the physical memory of the esxi host, but it does not recognize the changes made on the SDDC Manager dashboard.
Thank you.

How would not impact service or support ?? more explication please ?
This means that if you changed disks or memory and then you open a support case with any other technical issue you will get help from VMware Global Support Services (GSS).
However, the dashboard will no longer show the correct capacity. As a workaround you can first remove the host from Cloud Foundation, then change disk/memory capacity or layout, finally you add the server as a new host to the system.
This is a good idea, thank you for sharing. I will consult carefully before deciding to register!
