Unable to login VCenter VM console using root user

I am running Vcenter on EXI host and have created many VMs, I have created two VMs on REHL but experiencing root login denial from its console while same root user login is successful through normal putty session. When I try to login through console there is error of invalid user or password.

can any body guide me how to resolve this issue as these virtual machines are clone of other as a continued practice and it never happened before.

Play around a bit with your keyboard settings in the VM console.

Maybe "force to US keymap" helps you

Thanks it worked, it was keyboard mapping of keys which were different.
