PSC 6.5 not enumerating domain groups and users

Long time lurker... first time poster...

I have installed a new 6.5 PSC at a newly created remote site. The site is a mix of Windows 2012 r2 (Active Directory, part of a Forest) and RHEL 6.x/7.x virtual and physical machines.

The site is still working out network kinks (MTU and connectivity issues) but, for the most part, the connection has been stable. I also had to fight some time drift issues but created a NTP source and that appears to have resolved that issue.

The Problem: The PSC is connected to the domain but does not enumerate the users and groups for the domain.

The PSC has been added to the local AD domain, the PSC has a machine name in the computers OU, domainjoin-cli query tells me that the machine is connect to the domain with the correct machine name.

I can run Likewise scripts, from the PSC command-line,  that will show me the domain users and groups for the domain but viewing the ssoAdmin log tells a different story.

When view the viewing the ssoAdmin log I see two specfic errors:

1. That it can't connect to the Forest .

2. There is a java error error around find a connection server.

(Sorry I don't have more on the exact error messages at this time).

Eventually the PSC gives up and reverts back to the vsphere.local but is the drop-down shows me the Forsest and all the child domains but won't pull any of the information from any of them

Thoughts? Ideas? on this subject?

Thanks!

Signed,

Very lost Admin

That's a tough one to answer on here. I think you should collect a log bundle and only a support request.
