Question :
Where do I download 6.7 vSphere client
There is no more traditional vSphere desktop client available any longer. You must use the ESXi embedded host client accessible on your ESXi host at https://<FQDN>/ui.
Is this for a standalone host, or do you have a vCenter Server in place (or setting one up)??
It wouldn't matter. The legacy C# client can't connect to either in 6.7.
True... You have to use a web client, which is just connecting via the URL. Depending on if you're going direct to a host server, or to a vCenter will determine your experience. I have seen the vCenter web site take some time to actually be available once it's actually booted up.
It's been a while since I've done a completely fresh/virgin setup. I've also not deployed a vCSA in a 100% clean environment (yet at least). IIRC, though, even if you connect to one of the host servers (or the only one you have) via the IP or FQDN, you'll get a landing page where it has the links for either the HTML5 or Flex page. IIRC, Flex is only available (at least for now, until it goes away) with a vCenter Server setup.
Either way, there's no longer any thick/installed client to obtain. IIRC, it went away when 6.5 came out.
