Can you edit the esxi host serial number in vCenter 6.5?

You mean Serial number from the output of this command?
esxcfg-info | grep "Serial Number"
I want to know how to add it to here in vCenter 6.5 I was able to in 5.5 and those numbers carried over in my upgrade to 6.5 but any new host I can't seem to add
I am beginning to think this isn't possible anymore so why is it still listed in the hardware status?
