VCSA 6.7 - Problem with Flash Client

Hey,

we just upgraded from 6.5 to 6.7 Appliance and are now having trouble with logging into the flash client. HTML5 works fine, but after logging in into the flash client, nothing happens...

Thanks for help in advance.

Cheers,

Daniel

Found the problem. Old VDP Extension was still there and causing trouble. Unregistered it and now everything works.

Hi Daniel,

have you tried clearing the browser cache?

Is Flash allowed in the browser, are there any hidden/suppressed pop-ups?

Did this work before the upgrade?

Are all vCenter services running (see View the Health Status of Services and Nodes )?

I had the same problem and it turned out to be some incompatible Veeam extensions breaking the Flash client. Below is a link that provides instructions to remove the extensions, along with the three specific Veeam extensions I removed. I also had to reboot vCenter after removing the extension but now the Flash client works!

Offending Veeam extensions:

com.veeam.backupui.VeeamBackupUi

com.veeam.backup.veeamzip

com.veeam.backup.quickbackup
