Changing windows VM MAC address issue

Hello,

I have windows 2012 R2  VM  for For some reasons I have to change NIC MAC address form windows

but when I change MAC VN lost network connection

anyone have idea how to solve this issue ?

Have you rebooted the virtual machine after changing mac address? Do you have any mac binding in your environment?

Is the new MAC showing on the vCenter /ESXi vm settings?
