Basic ESXi hypervisor license question

Hello Friends,

Just seeking some clarification on licensing a new host server into our VMware environment.

Goal is to install and properly license a new ESXi v 6.7 on a HP Proliant DL380 Gen 9 server as an additional host. Hardware is on compatibility list.

Sockets : 2

Cores per socket: 8

logical processors: 32

Any information is greatly appreciated.

ESXi is licensed by physical CPU sockets, so you'll need two CPU licenses for the host.

Btw. you never responded to Re: license question, so I'm not sure whether you saw my answer there. Maybe you already have all the licenses that you need!?
