I have searched throughout the forum and have found a few threads that talk about the ability to use scripts on a local OS and return values to vROPS for monitoring. But what I haven't been able to find is actual screen shots specifically for Windows that would send a value back to vROPS to record.
I did find an example: vrops-metric-collection/metric-collection.py at master · sajaldebnath/vrops-metric-collection · GitH... but this is in python and it would be more useful if I could find something in Powershell as I am not very strong in coding skills.
Here is also another example in case someone is looking for an example in Linux: vRops: How to Monitor Linux Process Automatically – via Rest API - nxgcloud
As always thank you very much for all the help!
You'd need to use these in tandem with the EpOps agent installed locally inside the guest. Is this what you envisioned doing?
Yes, I was planning on utilizing EpOps agent.
