VCAP-NV exam format?

I am tasked to do VCAP-NV before Oct this year. I have valid VCP6-NV now and for part of the preparation of the certification, what will be the format of the exam(3V0-643)? It is typical multiple choice questions again? If so, why the exam preparation guide shows there will only be 23 questions? If not, I guess it would be scenario based labs within vmware HOL environment?

I guess the exam is also scheduled through pearson vue location?

All VCAP Deployment exams are HOL based.

Yes, you must take these exams at a Pearson centre, the link above includes exam scheduling.

Assume I passed exam, my VCAP also renew my existing VCP?
