VM Desktop Pool another task is already progress status error

Hi, I have a pool of vdi desktops on horizon view 6.0.1 build-2088845 the machine is in error status, task recomposed and agent unknown version. I tried to erase the machine, but it tells me that there is another task in progress. I have entered esx processes and I do not see any process linked to the machine.

The OS is a windows 7, 32bits running in an esx 5.5 build 2143827.

I would like to eliminate the machine.

Try investigating where the file lock is coming from:https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/10051

Maybe it helps restarting the host or just the the management agents (try in DCUI) on this specific esx host.

Hello,

If you want to eliminate machine, you can connect to esxi host using SSH and type:

Esxcli vm process host | grep -A 1 VMNAME

Copy world id then

Esxcli vm process kill --type=force --world-id=previousworld id
