I don't think there are any list of things that should be checked as that can be huge. It's probably best if you make your own list of operations which are common to how your organization does business and operates their vSphere.

Hi

Just a note with regards to certificates and VCSA

We noticed a little too late that previously the services had been set with a CA signed certificate which expired.

This caused a couple of issues as following the guides we were able to use the certificate manager to change them all to self signed (interim to get VCSA working) however the PSC would not start even though it was showing the correct self signed certificate.  The issue was down to the lookup service still using the expired certificate and this seem to cause the PSC issue.

I finally found that there is a certificate store (STS_INTERNAL_SSL_CERT) which does not appear in a fresh VCSA install which held the expired certificate.

In the end we followed a guide to recreate a self signed STS certificate and import this into the STS_INTERNAL_SSL_CERT store.  At this point the VCSA was solely using self signed certificates and were then able to log into the PSC successfully.

We were then able to use the PSC to replace the Machine SSL certificate with a new self signed certificate and everything now looks ok.

Yes Bashmore,

we do have the same issues with CA cert after suggestions by VMware re-installed the vCenter components issues got fixed and migration happened.

Here want an help on the end user (activities and daily tasks) documentation, our users have access on the vCenters on certain levels to have access on their VM's. Now we need to send out a things how changed, what will be the new changes and  performance tasks previously done by them.

Need performance guides and instructions for End users. Googled it but unable to find the docs.

If you have any documentation please let me the docs or URL's.
