Looking for documentation on physical switch configuration for VMware

I was sure that somewhere I found example documentation on configuring physical switches for VMware.  I remember it did not have examples for my switches, but it did have some for, I think, the Cisco 3750 and the Cisco Nexus 9000.  Does anyone know where I can find such documentation?  I've been searching, but without any luck.

But I was thinking there was something more general, not just related to EtherChannel.

For Cisco Specific Configurations, i suggest to look at Cisco CVDE's ,

Design Zone for Data Center - Cisco

They not only have design guidelines but nice configuration examples as well . Best of luck
