vrealize operation remote collector with two nics

Is it possible to add a second nic to vrealize operation remote collector ? Will it be a supported configuration?

Although it is possible, I am unaware of it being supported. There is no official documentation that suggests it is.

What is the use case? Maybe we can find a workaround?

I'm having an issue adding a remote collector althrough from networking side everything looks fine. all the tests are successfull ping, wget, curl nslookup.

I was hping to ad a nic to the RC and put it in a universal logical switch to add it.

Thx for your answer.

If you're having an issue adding a remote collector then the answer is to fix that issue and not add another NIC to ignore the problem. Adding resources to those appliances in that fashion isn't supported.

Problem solved thank you for your clarifications.

VCSA, vSphere Replication and vRealize automation are supported with dual nics.I hope this will also apply to future release of Operation Manager.

Why do you need two NICs on a remote collector?

In my case it is because there is no routable path between network A where vROPs lives and network B where the vCenter I need to collect data from lives.
