Accessing published applications through published desktops

Hello Guys,

I have desktop pools published and i have RDSH applications published as well.

What i would like to do is make this applications available to inside the desktop pools to the users.

I know we can provide applications through rdsh and vdi like below.

So is it possible to make available all these applications inside vdi Desktop ?

You need to install the horizon client in the published desktop, but yes. If you have 7.4 I believe you can have the published app pushed to the start menu, but they need to logon first once. I haven't tested this but I'm pretty sure you could probably take those shortcuts and put them in a mandatory profile or a default profile for your parent image. I'd make sure the horizon client is installed on the parent image, I've never had luck putting it in appvolumes or something similar.

I  installed the client inside the horizon desktop but the users are not really enjoying the exxperience.

I contacted vmware they said since its advanced license they will have to do this using persona.

but we need to contact the vmware professional service team to get info on how to do it.
