Problem with Mouse Jumping Around and Not Staying in Contact with Guest - vmware Workstation 14.1.1 build-7528167

Hello!

I am having a real problem with vmware Workstation 14.1.1 build-7528167.  I have it installed on Windows 10 and am running Windows 7 & Red Hat Linux Server 7.5 guests. Any mouse movement when in the guest session does not stay engaged and is not tracking to position.  This happens regardless of full screen or in console view.  The mouse movements are jerky, in the wrong position, does not move smoothly in the guest session, and you cannot use any of the mouse window reposition and highlighting capabilities.  I have tried several of the posted issues including setting the "Optimize mouse for" setting from Automatic to Always.  When this is done, I can click in the guest once and then the mouse pointer relocates to the bottom right hand corner and remains unmovable.  I have also set this to Never.  When this is done, I get the same behavior as if I was in Automatic.  The mouse actions do not stay in the guest, the mouse pointer is jerky, and your cannot reposition a window or highlight anything using a swipe of the mouse pointer.  I gather from many of the posts I have seen that many folks are having similar issues.  I need a fix for this as I use vmware Workstation for product demonstration development and offline product demonstrations.  The environment I am running is as follows:

vmware Workstation 14.1.1 build-7528167

Workstation Host OS:  Windows 10 Enterprise - Version 1709 - build 16299.309

Hardware:  Dell Precision M4800 Laptop - Intel i7-4910MQ CPU @ 2.90 GHz - 32.0 GB RAM - Logitech MX Anywhere 2 Cordless Mouse w/Logitech Unifying Receiver - Single Display (Laptop Display) NVIDA Quadro K2100M Display Adapter - Display listed as Generic PNP Monitor

Guests:  Windows 7 Enterprise, Red Hat 7.5 Server

Has anyone seen or gotten a fix for this?  This is causing me extreme issues.
