I created Datastore1 on LSI 27 TB internal RAID5 disk array but maximum it would allow was 16 TB.
I increased datastore capacity by expanding existing VMFS datastore extent.
It completed successfully and the underlying partition now occupies the entire disk but Datastore1 still only shows 16 TB capacity:
[root@HOS-BDR:~] partedUtil getptbl /vmfs/devices/disks/naa.600605b00d01e52022503a8b0634a7e5

:smileyconfused:
What does the output of df -h show on this ESXi host? For the hell of it, I'd also go ahead and punch up the ESXi embedded host client with the latest available from the Flings site.
Since this is a new installation, I shrunk and moved the 2 active VMs to Datastore0, deleted Datastore1 and recreated it. I specified "use entire disk" and it now shows correctly:
I think the original datastore was created *before* the ESXi license was installed and perhaps that may have been the limiting factor??

The license shouldn't have played a hand in this, but in any case it seems to be fixed.
