VMware Integrated Openstack (VIO) managing Cisco ACI

Hi all,

At this moment in our infrastructure we have VMware Integrated Openstack (VIO) deployed, in a classical way, with NSX,

But in order to have a more homogeneous network, we are considering to add Cisco ACI. The idea is the ACI (APIC) to be managed by the Neutron from VIO.

But We haven't found any information related to that.

Is it possible to add ACI to VIO? Could the support of the product (VIO) be lost from VMware in case of adding ACI to VIO?

Regards,

Jon

I suppose anything is possible but it wouldn't be supported.

Asked the same question some months ago:

No, this is not possible. You could implement it manually, but no support and every change in VIO will overwrite your configuration.

Our RedHat OpenStack cloud is using our Cisco ACI, but there are still many open issues and bugs (Currently on ACI/APIC 3.0)
