UEM Create Shortcut

Using UEM 9.0

Windows 7/64

I trying to deploy a Shortcut from UEM for a locally installed application.  This application has a number of different environment variable options, as a result UEM is a great solution for this product.

here's the issue...

When I assign the shortcut, the shortcut itself deploys properly...problem is when I launch the app from the UEM assigned shortcut, I get a PowerBuilder error (yes, the app uses PB).

We have other apps that I deploy desktop shortcuts via UEM with no issues.

If I create a desktop shortcut in Windows, no issues at all.

If I run the EXE from the local drive, no issues at all.

I know this error is probably not UEM related, but I thought I'd ask to see if anyone else had a similar experience.

Hi lidokci,

Hmmm, interesting... Does it make any difference if you set the Start in: field to the folder that the executable resides in?

Here's a copy of my UEM profile.

I get the same error when running from desktop or from the programs folder

Could you send me a zip file with a working shortcut (i.e. one you created directly in Windows), a non-working one (from UEM), so I can try and see what's different?
