Corrupt VM Disk Latency Alarm

we are running esx 5.0 hosts on vsphere 5. currently we have two VM's reporting astronimical latency times.  it is reporting over 1million MS. which is 10,000 minutes.

Ex:

Target: SERVER1

Previous Status: Green

New Status: Red

Alarm Definition:

([Yellow Metric Is above 50Millisecond; Red Metric Is above 75Millisecond])

Current values for metric/state:

Metric Highest latency = 1,271,310,319Millisecond

Description:

Alarm 'Virtual machine total disk latency' on SERVER1 changed from Green to Red

any ideas how/where to troubleshoot this?

I see this is a somewhat old thread with no reply. Did youi ever figure out a solution? I have the same problem.

Thanks.

ESX 5 also.

Alarm Definition:

([Yellow Metric Is above 1,000Millisecond; Red Metric Is above 1,200Millisecond])

Current values for metric/state:

Metric Highest latency = 1,271,310,317Millisecond

Yikes!

Yes. It's a known issue/bug with /vcenter 5.0. Should be resolved on next patch.

I just ran into this bug. I'm trying to figure out where the issue is happening. We never saw this with our old storage (VNX Gen1).

Once we switched to ScaleIO, our graphs just show some ridiculous data.

Has anyone run into this recently?
