Vmware Tools Versioning

We are in the process of getting all of our VMs to HW and 13 and VMware tools 10287.  Browsing through the Web Client I am noticing some windows machines still running 10277(Current).  There are other machines that are running 10287 on the same host that are listed as "Current".  Why is there a discrepancy on what tools version is current on an individual host.  These machines are all HW version 13 and running on the same host.

Do you use Update Manager?

Need Scan for Updates

Yes we use Update Manager.  If the machine is listed as current, it is listed in Update Manager as compliant regardless of the version, even after a scan for updates.
