I want to clone Alert definition which is configured for All adapter type and all Object type

Is there a way that we can clone or export OOTB alert definitions like "adapter object instance down"  alerts. when i select clone these kind of alerts and i am getting an error that can not clone alerts which are configured for all adapter type.

What is the name of the alarm you want to clone?

You can move/copy alarms, see my Alarms – Moving Them Around post

Hi,

you cannot clone/modify alerts created for "all adapters" type in the vROps UI. You might be able to do this via REST API (it has been working for 6.5, I have nort checked for 6.6). Let me know if you need more details.
