VDP scheduled backup of virtual machines has error (Manual backup = ok)

vCenter Version: 6.0.0.20000

We have several VM backups that are stopping during a scheduled job.
The errors we have is:

When running a manual back-up everything is running fine.

Anybody a solution for this?

Please try running the NTP service on the ESXi server where the proxy/VDP appliance resides and then try again.

Are you using custom retention for this backup job? Like keep daily for so many monthly for so many?

If yes, then probably the keep daily value is equal to 0

Change this to a non zero value and re-run the job
