Can I create a new VCSA server to replace the old one when I can't connect the old one?

My VC server have an err and I can't connect to it.

I want to create new one to replace it ,but now I can't connect to the server to cancel the HA.

Can I create new one directly or I need do something in advance?

vCenter HA?

You can, sure, but would you like help in fixing your existing vCenter, or are you fine just taking a sledge hammer to it at this point?

I am a noob in VM, and now I'm suffering a problem in 503 Service Unavailable (Failed to connect to endpoint:

I have googled for replace vCenter, they said i need to delete the ESXi server from HA. So i' m confusing that if I can't delete ESX from HA, could I make a new VCSA to replace the old one.

I got same issue and I just tried below steps to fix the issue :smileycool:

1. Reset same vcha password on three node - Active, Passive & Witness on vCenter through VM's console (KB # 2148675 - VMware Knowledge Base )

# passwd vcha

2. Run the following cmd to destroy vCHA on "Active Node"

# destroy-vcha   ( Resolving Failover Failures

3. Reset "Passive Node" through below cmd and make it primary >>> Powered off other two "Active & Witness" Node >> Rebooted Passive Node and vCenter came back online.

# vcha-reset-primary  ( Resolving Failover Failures )

I would be interested to learn the answer to the original question.  Is it possible to replace a defunct VCSA with a new one?  And specifically, what are the steps involved with moving the ESXi hosts and licenses to the new VCSA?
