Reg VCA 6 Certification

Hi All,

I'm Associate Engineer in Ctrls Data Center Ltd. I have been working since 9 months.

I want to do VCA 6 Certification but in website it is showing that the "This certification will retire on December 31, 2017" and replacement is VCA-DBT.

Can anyone suggest me that which certification would be better and how many years the VCA certification would be valid.

This exam will replace the VCA exams "VMware Certified Associate - Digital Business Transformation (VCA-DBT)"

The 4 individual VCAs (DCV, NV, DTM, CMA) are all being retired, the only VCA will be the new DBT.

Why do you want to be a VCA?

VCAs don’t “expire” - once you have them, you have them forever.

For vCA Associate - When you cleared below exam then you will get VCA6-DCV Certification .

1V0-701    VMware Certified Associate - Digital Business Transformation Exam

For practice of this exam - create login on https://www.vmware.com/education/ and enrolled for Self-paced 60 days training VMware Learning Zone (Trial Subscription)

For Professional Certification :-

a. When you cleared both exam then you will get VCP6-DCV Certification.

vSphere 6 Foundations Exam (2V0--620)

VCP6-DCV Exam (2V0-621)

b. When you cleared both exam then you will get VCP6.5-DCV Certification.

vSphere 6.5 Foundations Exam (2V0--602)

VCP6-DCV Exam(2V0-622)
