srm and vcenter reboot order

good morning,

in my lab i have two sites (red and blue) protected with srm (all software to latest versions), all with red[psc-vcsa] and blue[psc-vcsa], same SSO domain, multiple site (red & blue sites).

now, if i simulate the loss of the red vcenter rebooting it (or simply disconnecting for a couple of seconds the net card) the web pages of the vsphere replication details show this warning, EVEN if i have have reconnected the net card or completed the reboot of red vcenter and it had came back online...

now the question:

is there a correct way to restart from a missed network connection/rebooted vcenter?

i need to restart all the infrastructure (psc+vcenter) on both sides? in which order?

thanks

Marcello

I'm not seeing any warning in your screenshot. PSC gets booted first, then vCenter.

Hi,

I dont think, you should use single SSO domain for protected and recovery both site. However, you can go with below sequence for rebooting all Infra.

1. Reboot PSC first.

2. Reboot Vcenter server one by one for both site.

3. Reboot SRM server one by one both site.

Hope, this will help you.

Thanks
