vRA Content Pack Field

Can anyone speak to where this field comes from?

"vmw_vra_cat_item_name"

I've loaded up the vRA 7.3 content pack and some queries require it yet I've found no instance of it in my logs.  Thanks in advance

Where are you seeing that extracted field? It isn't defined in the content pack that I can tell.

It's in the vRA 7.3 content pack > vRA - Catalog Requests > Completed Requests successful over time.  If you send it over to Interactive Analytics it shows that field is required for the query.

Note that there is a vRA 7 and 7.3 content pack, if that makes a difference

Oh, I didn't even notice there was a vRA 7.3 content pack until you mentioned it. I find it funny a requirement is a vRLI agent which has yet to be released.

So once I removed the old content pack, removed my agent group, and re-classified my vRA appliance using the new agent group, I get successful extraction of the field with data returned from a successful request I fired off.

Turns out I needed more patience I suppose.  Some events as of minutes ago are showing up so that field must not have been captured before installing that content pack.  Thanks for the walk through on this one
