Hyper-V On Server 2016

Hi,

I wanted to try something and have a server 2016 datacenter VM and install hyper-v roles on it and run VMs inside the VM. like a nested setup. but when i try to install the role it pops up to say this CPU doesn't have virtualization capabilities. ? ive added a screenshot.

There should be an option along the lines of "Expose hardware virtualization to the guest operating system" in the CPU settings of the VM.

Have a read of this document as well Running Nested VMs

That document is a good read although it is becoming dated as the original author has left VMware for some time now.
