O365 C2R subscription license with Visio & Project volume license (KMS) Appstack

App Volumes 2.1.3.1

Horizon 7.3.2

Non-persistent VDI: Windows 10 1709 - No writable

App volumes agent: 2.1.3.1

Has anyone got the above combination working?  Using the C2R install method for O365 subscription and Visio & Project volume license installs successfully on a persistent VDI with no Appstack, but when provisioned to an Appstack and assigned to a non-persistent VDI user, Visio and Project request sign-in credentials when run.

OSPP.VBS /dstatus returns ”No installed product keys detected”, so it’s impossible to activate against our KMS.

Thanks,

MS doesn't support having two different installation technologies (MSI, KMS) on the same computer.  It also doesn't support two separate C2R packages on the same computer.  So you'll need to create a separate AppStack for those users using all C2R or all MSI

AppStack with O365

AppStack with O365 + Visio

AppStack with O365 + Project

AppStack with O365 + Visio + Project

Hi Ryan.  Thanks for the reply.  MS does actually support the licesning model as long as the products were installed using the C2R method, ie ODT.

SR has been raised with VMWare who have confirmed what I'm trying to do should work, and is supported, so holding out to see what they find.
