Hi,

the excel is my studied resources from internet, those are compiled information from different pages that i have gone through.
the thing is i have no confidence enough to do this and i need someone could review and advice the design.
from how i should start, build , configure , connect and etc..
thanks you.. really need someone can guide with a diagram.
It would be helpful to know what level of experience you have with vSphere and vCenter... an 8 Host 2 VCenter design is not your average beginner setup.
First of all , I am assuming that for some reason you are unable to hire a VMware partner to help you configure and validate this design. If this is an option, I would highly recommend it.
With that aside.. I have looked at your spreadsheet but like the prior responder, I am not sure what we are looking at here.
The Management ILO should not come into play in the vSphere world , that will be separately managed on your physical switches.
It looks like you plan on having large VLAN ranges for your VM Network. Since it also looks like you plan on using Distributed Networking ( I assume you have Enterprise Plus Licensing or NSX) , How will you name your port groups? Will you create a port group with a name distinction for each VLAN?
I also see that you have vCenter , vsphere hypervisor service and hypervisor mangagement on their own VLANs, Can you explain what the distinction is for these networks? Judging by one of your pictures it looks like you are preparing for ESX Console, however, the ESX Console was remove after version 4.1 and no longer requires configuration.
The last question that I have revolves around the vCenters. What is the design of the 2 vCenters? Is it just Fault Tolerance? are you setting up 2 clusters like PROD and DR?
There is no simple answer to your question. Each design is tailored to the needs of the customer and the requirements of the environment. If you have not worked your way up through the products this might be very difficult for you to self deploy.

Hi Apologize, the ILO is configure on physical machine so is not part of the vmware setup.
i know how to install ESXI host and Vcenter also adding host. but i'm confused or not confidence what or which is the correct way to setup configure virtual network.
(should i use 2 vcenter?)
like should i use VDS or standard virtual switch, and do i setup it correctly
how should i create proper port group and vlan for each machine
need advice on this
Any one could help advice... >< "
many many thanks
