how to update template/ovf in content library

Hi there,

I'm trying to deploy Content Library in my vCenters but I'm facing a little problem.

I've "uploaded" all my VM templates in the CL and the deleted from my vCenter (to gain some space) but now, if I need to make a change to my VM template how should I proceed ?

Should I create a new VM from CL ? Export it to my local drive and the reupload in a datastore then inventory ? Another solution ?

I have the same question.  What is the easiest way to update a template stored in the content library?

In Web-client we have an to option do it.

1) Deploy new VM from your template.

2) Modify it as per your requirement.

3) Select "Clone" -->"Clone to template Library"

4) There you will get option to Update the existing template.
