Upgrading to macOS High Sierra on a MacBook Air

Hello,

I currently have macOS Sierra on a 2015 MacBook Air with VMware Fusion version 8.5 running Windows 10 from a BootCamp partition on the internal SSD hard drive.

From what I understand, if I upgrade macOS to High Sierra I will need to upgrade VMware Fusion to v10 - but will I be able to use the BootCamp partition on an SSD hard drive? I read that the High Sierra upgrade will require updating the SSD to the new Apple File System with no option to avoid. Do the instructions in this KB article ( https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/2151780 ) still apply for this case?

Thank you for any help,

Zaron B
