Windows 7/10 guests graphics broken

Hi all,

I was trying to run a 3D game in low setting under Windows VM. The game was unable to run but it's not the weird thing. After quitting the game, I noticed the whole Windows UI was broken, icons, menus and windows elements were torn apart and unable to use. This happened with my Windows 7 and 10 VMs, making new VMs seems not to help.

The problem occurred after I remove Parallels 13 and reinstalled Fusion 10, because Parallels 13 made my computer fans ran in full speed and the computer eventually shut down. Before that, I was able to run the game in both Parallels and VMWare Fusion.

Can anyone help me out?

My computer: 13 inch 2016 MacBook Pro with Touch Bar base model

Thanks.

Did you import the VM from Parallels 13?

No. I created new VM in Fusion. I’ve never imported VMs from one software to another.

If you could let us know which game you were running, and attach a vmware.log and a screenshot of the broken desktop, we can see if we can reproduce this in-house.
