Peppermint linux is signed for SecureBoot. When you try to start a VM it says "Cannot open /dev/vmmon" because the o/s is signed without the vmware vmmon module. The laptop's manufacturer says they do not support signing your own kernels.
What are the host o/s options for SecureBoot that do not need additional signing, or that are signed with vmware included?
Recommended feature, if not done already on a popular linux distro. Why not?
