I'm sure this is possible, I just can't seem to figure out how to do it with the API documentation. What I would like to do is use the Horizon View API (or even Horizon View PowerCLI advanced functions) to update the General User information for a user that is assigned to a machine.
We have a 3rd party Desktop layering and OS management solution that we use to manage Horizon View and it syncs with Horizon View, however whenever changes are made in our Active Directory, Horizon View doesn't update and the sync between the 3rd Party solution and Horizon View fails to return the new information for the desktop owner which forces me to manually update each user one at a time from the Horizon View Admin portal. Using the Update General User information for all users button in the Admin web console doesn't work either, thus the manual process of a per user basis.
Hopefully someone else out there has experienced something similar or needed to do the same task.
