vCenter 5.5 in-place upgrade to 6.5 with vSphere Replication Appliance

Hi All, we have vCenter 5.5 running a windows server, with ESXi 5.5 and vSphere replication 5.5.1. we are planning to do an in-place upgrade to vCenter 6.5.

But is vSphere replication 5.5.1 is not supported with the newer version of vSphere Center, such as the latest one, so my question is , if anyone had to deal with the same situation, is do i have to upgrade gradually vCenter , or i can go straight to 6.5 than upgrade vSphere appliance?

Thanks

You would upgrade vCenter first and then vSphere Replication second. There is always a KB which has proper upgrade order to follow. https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/2147289
