VMware Adobe Flash Optimizer incompatible

Hi,

When opening IE receive this message.

Vmware Adobe Flash Optimizer from VMware,Inc. isn't compatible with Internet Explorer's enhanced security features and has been disabled.

Open add-ins and it is greyed out.

Look up solutions and it points to creating GPO to enable or disable.

Read that it is part of the Agent install.

Is this all correct?

We have Adobe flash installed in base image and want to know if there is a way to remove Optimizer if we are not using it?  Or does it enhance the core Adobe Flash in anyway that it should be enabled?  Am new and appreciate any tips.

Could not find any official documentation on this process, there are some third party blogs that cover steps for this that can be found and tried.  If you find one that works, please let us know.

We're having the same issue with our Windows 10 images.  I've tried forcing the add-on to be disabled via Group Policy(both in Computer Configuration and User Configuration) using the Class ID, but no mater what it's still giving us the pop-up.  I can't believe this isn't an option that can be de-selected during View Agent install.  VMWare please help!

Hi,

Adobe Flash Optimizer fix for me.

I am using the GPO for Computer settings in my RDS Policy and it is working.  The only thing that may be different is that I removed the UEM Flex agent from my servers.  In my RDSH Sessions I did not have to have any UEM management as I am using the IE as a WebApp service in  full screen mode.  This seemed to fix the issue.
