We are running vRops 6.6 and have installed MP for Storage Devices 6.0.5. I know this is NOT compatible with 6.6 but we are able to run it in our test environment and that’s the reason for running it in production as well. We have some issues running it in our production environment. We don't for some reason get all the Metrics from one of our vCenters even when the configuration is exactly the same. I have tried to remove the configured Adapter and reconfigure it without any luck I opened a support case and the result was: This is not compatible - sorry... use VSAN MP and we don't use VSAN and it doesn't collect anything at all.
Now to my question:
What MP do you use in order to get information about your SAN Fabric ???
We got all the information we needed in the MP for Storage Devices like Metrics for the ports and been able to see the throughput and so on.
