WORKSTATION PRO 12.5.8 LINUX COMPILE HELP - NEED VMNet.Ko module, How do I get it?
Hello everyone,
My main desktop is Fedora KDE 25 and I had used VMware workstation 12 pro without any problems until I had uninstalled it to update to version 12.5.8. I installed the Vmware 12.5.8 with no issues but it wouldn't compile because it says that it failed to build vmnet. I recieved this error which i highlighted in purple from vmware-25599.log at the bottom stating:

Do I need the VMNet.Ko module? If so how do I compile vmnet or patch it? I see dariusd provided patches and the syntax for it but I only see for version WS pro 12.5.2 . that the right version patch for WS Pro 12.5.8 Linux? Can I use those patches? Any information to get vmnet and vmware up and running is much appreciated.
