Alert display expression to display nodes that are affected by the alert?

Is there a way to do that?

Say I have an alert with cpu load > 2.0 for 5 minutes.  The graph will show either 0 or 1 (False or True).  Then the alert fires.  It would be helpful to have a plot graph of just the affected nodes along with the alert for quick diagnosis.  Also is there an option for multiple displays or basically an alert dashboard?

Hi Toanngo,

Thank you for bringing this up. We have an enhancement request already put in for this. Basically, you will only see the time series that are causing the alert to fire. I do not have a time frame for this but it has been brought up to product management and engineering.

As for your second question, do you mean you will like to have multiple displays for the same alert?

Thanks

Yes.  If possible have the option for multiple display expressions, sort of like a dashboard just for the alert that fired.

You can do this today by creating a dashboard and including a link to that dashboard in the additional information section of the alert.  The dashboard url will be something like https://<cluster>.wavefront.com/dashboard/<my-dashboard-id>
