i rename virtual machine, is it affected if i delete the files from old name?

I Rename the virtual machine and i notice that it created a new folder . data store if i delete the old name  folder it will effect to VM?

Not sure if I understand you correctly, but renaming the virtual machine on the inventory will not rename the folder on the datastore. To rename the datastore folder to reflect the current name of your virtual machine, you can just storage vMotion the virtual machine to a different datastore. It didn't. VM folder on the datastores doesn't change its name, when you rename a VM. Most likely this folder was there already, before you renamed the VM. So be careful and check what's in the folder if you decide to delete it.
