Flash update to 27.0.0.170 causing vCloud Director UI (8.20) to crash

Hi,

I just noticed today that after updating Flash to 27.0.0.170, I am unable to access the vCloud Director UI. After logging in, the browser will report that the Flash plugin has crashed in Chrome, Windows and OS X alike. We are running vCloud Director 8.20 at the moment. Anyone else having this issue? The only way we found so far to access the UI is using IE, which is still running flash version 27.0.0.130 at the moment. Anyone else having this issues?

Seems like the only workaround for Chrome is to somehow get a hold of previous version (27.0.0.159) of pepper flash player plugin or and overwrite it. Or use other browser that'll let you have a downgraded flash version from Adobe.

Similar issue here on 9.0...Flash for Mac crashes out when loading. Running through IE on a much older version works.

You can also use Safari with flash version 27.0.0.159 downloaded from here: Archived Adobe Flash Player versions as long as you uninstall existing flash first.

Adobe has a beta version of the flash that resolves the issue: Download Adobe Flash Player 27 Beta for Desktops - Adobe Labs

Important if you need the Zero-day vulnerability fix that was in version 27.0.0.170.
