vmrc / mac osx / crash after network change and boot ?

OS: mac osx 10.10.5

vmrc: 7.1.0 build 2665729

I call the remote console app from the webclient. VM is power off. After that I select "Virtual Machine -> Settings" and open the "Removable Device -> Network Adapter" configuration.

Now I change the "Network Connection" from one to a other network and close the settings window.

Now when I start the VM the remote console app crashes. I have a report created and attached this discussion.

Regards

I can reproduce this in VMRC 7.1.0 but not in VMRC 8.0 which was released today. Please download version 8.0 here and see if the problem still exists.

Same thing, after changing the CD settings, it crashes when booting the VM. Every time.

Hyler, I see you're using VMRC 10.0.1 on macOS 10.12.6. I could not reproduce this on my Mac with these versions. What particular CD settings are you changing? Do you have a physical CD drive on your Mac? Do you see this for changing Networking (like the OP) or any other settings? Did you launch VMRC with the VM powered off or power it off in the same session?
