Corrupt VMDK file - how to repair?

Hi Team,

I do backup my VM's with VEEAM. It is not backing up one VM. It seems the VMDK file is corrupt.

The VM is working fine. I am scared that all of a sudden it will not work anymore. Please help me out how to fix this.

It is a windows server 2012. Should I run checkdisk on it or how?

Regards and thanks!

continuum I have to mention you, as I have seen that you are very clever with this kind of problems! I also did add you on skype.

Hi Alex
that indeed sounds very familar. I had a case like that a few weeks ago.
In that special case a manual consolidation did the trick.
Anyway I suggest we continue this via skype and Teamviewer.
Please do not try any  online consolidations before we discussed this in detail.
Regards Ulli
