It looks like the Horizon 7.3 binaries were pulled from the My.VMware.com website due to severe bugs in the code. Rumor has it, that it will be a week or so until the updated code is released to the public...so if you pre-download the Installation files you'd better just delete them now. Has anyone heard anything official yet from VMWare?
I hope they Will do the same with client 4.6
i tried to install it and even i did and upgrade from 7.2 to 7.3
there is an issues in provisioning and a lot of issues not solved
we hope 7.3.1 will be released before 6 October
Hi,
What issues are you seeing with the Horizon 4.6 client? Thank you.
With the introduction of the Horizon View Client 4.6.0-6605044 we are experiecing issues with connecting to our View enviroment from the internal WiFi network. The users are getting the unable to establish tunnel error. When connecting via wired LAN or LTE this problem does not occur
While Horizon client 4.5 is working perfect, 4.6 not.
So i'm wondering what is changed between those 2 agents in case of SSL / certificate / Ciphers / Ports.. etc.
Hi,
What issues are you seeing with the Horizon 4.6 client? Thank you.
Horizon 7.3.1 appears to be available now.
Here you can read at the resolved issues list what the change is to 7.3.1
Release Notes for VMware Horizon 7 version 7.3.1
Also a new horizon client 4.6.1
Download VMware Horizon Clients
But what is changed between 4.6 and 4.6.1 Except the build number ?
There's an updated note in the release notes that says:
"The 4.6.1 release of Horizon Client for Windows includes a new command-line installation property called AUTO_UPDATE_ENABLED. This property determines whether the online update feature is enabled in Horizon Client for Windows. A value of 1 enables the feature. A value of 0 disables the feature."
I read that, but it looks like it did not bother me
I was searching for some more interesting SSL bugfixes. But i will give it a try, maybe some hidden changes are done.
What client are you using? With 4.6 we updated the clients so they all enable security tunnel by default (Windows and Linux supported the security tunnel in earlier releases). This has revealed DNS issues with some environments. Can you check with your admin to make sure your DNS settings are correct?
