Restore Content Library or Import Existing Content Library Folders

So I had to rebuild my vCenter (vCSA) from scratch, don't ask.  With that, my content library was lost.  The LUN that the content library was on still has all the iso's and templates I was using.  Any idea if there is a way to restore that?

Hey Chris, not unless you have the old vCSA laying around (even if broken) from which you could harvest the manifest.

For a number of reasons we've had to install a new vCSA and remove our hosts from the old vCSA and add them to the new vCSA.  Can I get the details on how to harvest the manifest and get it into the new vCSA so I don't have to recreate my templates?

One thing I can't figure out is how to import an ISO file from a datastore into the Content Library.  I've been searching the interwebs for like an hour and have come up empty on that.  Does that ability exist?  If not, how in the world could that have been forgotten?

It will be a real pain if I have to download all my datastore ISO files to a client just to re-upload them into a datastore based content library.
