How did you copied VM to new host, can you verify if at source location this VM has snapshot ? Verify the files in VM folder with source and destination you have copied data. This is standalone host ?

Hello,

I copied the virtual machine from ESXi 6.0 to ESXi 6.5.

Required more details on this, how you copied it from source to destination ?

Cannot open the disk '/vmfs/volumes/xxx/xxx/xxx.vmdk' or one of the snapshot disks it depends on.

Module 'Disk' power on failed.

Failed to start the virtual machine.

Reason: The system cannot find the file specified, either one of your vmdk (harddisk) or snapshot disk is missing. Check your source datastore of that VM, is that all copied properly. Again it endup with the same question. How you copied.?

Please consider marking this answer "correct" or "helpful" if you think your query have been answered correctly. Thanks, Srini

I copied it with datastore of vSphere Web Client.

ESXi6.0[iSCSI(NAS)] -> ESXi6.5[SSD]

And,There was SNAPSHOT.

It is a standalone host.

You need to compare and copy the snapshot files (.vmsn and .vmsd) on source and destination VM folder. If that isn't same replica, VM not gonna work.
